This specimen was collected off of Potter's Cove in Jamestown, RI. When I was a kid we used to walk there and fish for the crabs that hid under the rocky shale. We would collect old fishing line and tie it around smashed mussels to dangle in the water. These days I prefer a more gentle approach to studying aquatic life.
