Published in Providence, Outpost Journal is a non-profit print publication on innovative art, design and community action from cities that are at times underexposed beyond their local contexts. Each issue is an interpretive, collaborative journey into the creative heart of a place, exposing the various ways in which unique local communities arise through collaboration and production. Every issue of Outpost - lovingly produced by a combined team of local and national contributors - illuminates a hyper-local arts ecology via photography, design and creative additions (such as limited edition screen prints and special inserts), as well as a guide to where to find the best art in town and where to eat and drink while you're at it.
